Ben Harvey-Grounds takes fourth consecutive Dawn to Dusk victory

September 16, 2026 / Powersports

Four consecutive Dawn to Dusk victories. This time, 24 hours of racing in wet, slippery and muddy conditions put both rider and his KENDA tires to the test.

Ben Harvey-Grounds has once again claimed victory at Dawn to Dusk, one of the UK’s biggest and most demanding enduro events. The 2026 race marked Ben’s fourth consecutive victory at the event, following back-to-back wins in the 12-hour race and now two consecutive victories in the 24-hour race. Over the course of 24 hours, Ben completed 33 laps of the approximately 14-mile course, eventually finishing two laps ahead of second place. And this year, the challenge was not only the distance.

24 hours in demanding conditions

Heavy rain created wet, slippery and muddy conditions throughout the weekend, turning the course into a demanding test of rider, motorcycle and tires.

For the 2026 race, Ben’s Kove 450 was equipped with a KENDA K7107F in 90/90-21 at the front and a K779 in 140/80-18 at the rear. It was a new front tire choice compared with Ben’s 2025 Dawn to Dusk victory, where he competed in dry conditions using the K777F together with the K779 rear. This provided an opportunity to put the K7107F to the test over 24 hours of racing in conditions where consistent grip and effective mud clearance were particularly important.

Performance that lasted the distance

After 33 laps and 24 hours of racing, both tires showed remarkably little wear considering the difficult conditions.

The performance of the K7107F front tire stood out in particular. Even after 24 hours of racing in difficult conditions, it showed very little wear and delivered strong performance throughout the event.

Ben highlighted the tire’s self-cleaning tread design, which helped maintain consistent grip as mud built up on the course. He also noted its predictable feel, without the aggressive grab-and-bite characteristics he has experienced with some other tires. For the wet and muddy conditions at Dawn to Dusk 2026, this combination proved well suited to the challenge.

Following the race, Ben compared the K7107F favourably with two of the most popular premium front tires currently used by riders in the UK – strong feedback after putting it through 24 hours of demanding competition.

Four victories and counting

Winning Dawn to Dusk once is an achievement. Ben has now done it four years in a row, across both the 12-hour and 24-hour formats and in very different racing conditions.

His latest victory once again demonstrates the value of testing KENDA tires on the track, over long distances and under demanding real-world conditions.

Throughout the event, Ben was supported by Cambrian Tyres, with Graham Matcham and the team providing race support day and night.

We congratulate Ben on another outstanding Dawn to Dusk victory and thank Cambrian Tyres for their continued support throughout the event.
